On the 26th of April, Wasco High School held their first ever Poetry Slam in the library. Thirteen students took the stage to read a poem they had written in front of over 60 students during lunch time. Beyond the students, many teachers gave up their lunch to help support the students in revealing a little of their personal self up on the stage. Enjoyed by both the students who performed, who attended and staff, we can only now look forward to next year's Poetry Slam!
